Review of the National Energy Customer Framework (NECF) in SA

On 23 February 2015 – the regulator released its NECF issues paper marking the beginning of its review of the NECF in SA.

  • 9 submissions on the issues paper were received.
  • The draft report is due around Oct 2015.

Background:
The NECF aims to streamline the regulatory requirements of service providers in the NEM the protections cover such issues as the marketing of energy contracts and information to be provided to customers on the complaints process, interruptions and hardship regimes.
